visit Calgary

Hy, my name is Filip, and i really love Canada. I have never ever been to Calgary, or anywhere in Canada, but i would like to visit Calgary some day.

I know that city is divided into 4 quadrants, NW, NE, SW and SE, and i think that is really good, because it is easy to understand this system and the addresses, even for me, because I am coming from smaller place then Calgary, we can say that is really really easy to understand that whole system.

I have been to many cities of the world, and I can say that maps of Calgary are really great when you look at maps of other even bigger cities than Calgary. It is very important for cities to have good maps because lot of people comes in the cities and they can't find all places they want to see, cities maps will make it easier for them to visit all that they want to see. They will be happier and probably suggest to their friends to see, for e.g. Calgary.

Good maps also must have all the fancy places on it for rich guests, or all the playgrounds for children to play.

Barry's Response - Yes, Filip. These are desirable qualities that general or tourist maps should have. The intention is for people new to the area can use them to find the things that will likely be of interest to them.

The world is also full of specialty maps, such as ones showing where the gas plants are in an area. Or topography or political divisions; you name it. If it can be plotted on a map, it probably has at some point or another.
