Calgary Music

A little Rock'n Roll
I love music. I'd just like to say that to start. I love music. I actually live pretty close to Calgary, and have gone to a few shows there in the past... but most of those have been concerts at large venues (twice at the Saddle Dome, and once in U of C's biiig basement concert hall thing). A rather varied assortment of music at those venues, too, from heavier rock to straight-up Black Metal to the No Doubt concert most recently.
My favorite show, concert, whatever you want to name it, though, was at a little coffee shop called the House Coffee Sanctuary. I was friends with the guy playing, he went by the name of Shyne. Him and another guy by the name of Joal Kamps; really, really nice guys, and really, really good music.
Especially with the kind of music I listen to, though, it can be really, and I mean really hard to understand the lyrics. At least, you won't be able to make them out if you don't actually know what they are. Fortunately, though, I am living in the information generation, and we all have that favorite weapon for finding things online; Google. A quick search (Cry Little Sister lyrics, maybe, or Dolores O'Riordan lyrics) and ba-bam, I've got a whole selection of different sites to choose from. The problem isn't finding sites with lyrics; it's finding sites that you can actually navigate. Some of them are really, really poorly put together, or don't sort by album -- I could go on and on.
Barry's Response - That is a bit of a problem; I guess some ingenious designer will come up with a logical way to help people with it at some point in the future. Good luck. Thanks TiZ.
