For every person there’s a certain amount of stress that they can take. In order to cope with all of our mental strain we all need to find a way to unwind and relax.
There are many places that you can just let your hair down and go crazy, but there are only a few places that you can get physical and enjoy yourself.

The Calgary YMCA has been around a long time.
From its humble beginnings in Quebec, it has branched out to include many activities that most anyone in Calgary can participate in.
These activities include swimming, gymnastics, aerobics, rock climbing and other sports and fitness activities. To accommodate all the people who want to de-stress in a fun way, the Calgary YMCA is divided into 6 locations, plus one Calgary YWCA facility.

Swimming is one of those sports that can be intensive, playful, competitive or just plain relaxing. There are lots of Calgary swimming pools where you can have a fun swim, but to enjoy a friendly atmosphere and meet old and new friends the Calgary YMCA is the place to go.
You can take your kids there and turn them loose to enjoy themselves.
The YMCA Calgary provides more than sports and fitness programs for its visitors.
There are also day summer camps where kids can join in adventure camps, sports camps and other camps where each type of activity and event is geared for maximum fun.
